


Cyberplex Inc. (TSX : CX), today announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously approved a succession plan for the management of the company. Effective January 1, 2006, Geoffrey Rotstein will be promoted to Chief Executive Officer, taking over for current President and Chief Executive Officer, Dean Hopkins, who is leaving the company after 11 years.
“Dean was the initial visionary and driving force behind Cyberplex. As both founder and president, we want to thank him for his commitment and leadership in guiding the company for over a decade and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors,” said Vernon Lobo, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The Board is responsible for ensuring the continuity of leadership of the organization and is confident that these changes are best for the company. Geoffrey Rotstein joined Cyberplex as the Chief Financial Officer in 1996 and has played a key role in Cyberplex’s overall management, in addition to being the architect of the company’s financial strategy. His leadership has resulted in its profitability, positive cash position, and numerous successful acquisitions and financings.
